BIRD conducts foreign visits to various countries. In the past we have conducted exposure visits to Thailand, Bangladesh, Phillipines, Bolivia, Israel, Sri Lanka, S. Africa etc to have a first hand knowledge of developments taking place in these countries. The participants include official from CBs/ RRBs / NGOs / Corporative banks and for officers Reserve bank of India / NABARD / SIDBE etc...

In Financial year 2008-09 BIRD has conducted foreign exposure visits to the Philippines & Bangladesh.

In Financial year 2009 - 2010 BIRD is proposing to conduct exposure visits to the Philippines, Bangladesh, Israel, Thailand and Indonesia.
